There are many people who do not think that art and reality have anything to do with each other.
The Zeitgeist may be right for these people. However, art seems to me to belong to the general reality and especially in our time, in which the facts are more and more denied the validity.
I see strong reasons to help with the art of reality to their right! I try that with relatively realistic watercolors without being too much guided by the general taste. Above all, it is important to me to take a stand with my painting, but without neglecting the view of the beautiful things in the world!
