Artistic Statement
The origin of my painting is coming from an instant excitement I feel when looking at a figurative object of thinking of an abstract idea. When a specific moment is caught in my mind, I start to work on the painting. The work starts from the conceptual thinking, while the visual form is developing with every new sketch. Watercolor technique with its spontaneity helps me to concentrate on the core idea of my painting and to transfer the moment to my work.
