Sologub Nikolay Nikolaevich
(August 6, 1969, Kyiv)
Nikolai Sologubov studied at the Republican Secondary Art School named after T. Shevchenko, at the sculptural department. Subsequently, he participated in various domestic and foreign exhibitions, symposia, and happening. Works in many areas of art.
The dense pictorial texture of M. Sologubov’s paintings with a concentration of living spots of body strokes is specifically recognizable in the context of the Kiev artistic style of the 1990s. In combination with a specifically stylized pattern that forms the compositional interaction of local forms, it forms the oriental style inherent to this author.
