Life Events

Norma was born and raised in Somerville before moving to Boynton Beach, Florida in 1998. She owned and operated The Polish Nail Salon in Bridgewater, NJ, for many years. She has always painted from abstracts on a wall and throughout her career, small scale, custom nail art.  As she retired she painted more & took up pottery.  Norma painted her couch before painting fabric was a ‘thing’. She loved trying unique techniques and created 3D pottery platters, switch plates & finally a Seder Platter that tells a rich story, needing to be shared.  Her daughters, Janice, Wendy and her first cousin (and best friend) Holly, all hold on to her memory by remaining inspired by her and are creating their own way through art.
